Q: Do I need an appointment to look at wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses?
Yes, our salon is by appointment only. With an appointment we are prepared for your visit and you are guaranteed a fitting room to try on your selections since our place is small. To schedule an appointment, please contact us at 415-861-GOWN (4696). Please allow at least one hour for your appointment.

Q: Should I bring in pictures from magazines of gowns I like?
Yes. Definitely bring some pictures of styles you are interested in. This will help your consultant to assist you much better to find your special gown.

Q: Who should I bring with me to my appointment?
When shopping for a wedding gown all the experts advise not to bring too many people. Bring one or two people who are close to you and that will give you their honest opinion. In the end the only opinion that truly counts when picking a wedding gown is YOURS! You will be the center of attention at your wedding. You are the only one who will know when you have found the gown of your dreams. Also, since we are a small store, we are not able to accommodate large groups.

Q: Can I bring children to my appointment?
A child's safety is our highest priority. We encourage you to make other arrangements for them unless they are being fitted for dresses when you make the appointment. When shopping for that special gown you need to be able to focus and concentrate without distractions. A bridal salon is not a fun place for kids and they will get bored very quickly and distract you and other brides from this important decision. A bridal salon is also NOT a safe place for children due to loose pins and other hazards.

Q: Are we allowed to take pictures during my appointment?
We had allowed brides to take pictures in the past but unfortunately due to the exclusivity and copyright of some of the current designers we carry, we are not permitted to allow photography anymore. However, at the time of purchase, please feel free to take as many photos as you wish!

Q: What is your average price of a wedding gown?
Our bridal gown lines range from $800 to $3000. Most of our gowns are priced around $1200.

Q: How much time does it take to order my wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses?
Delivery times vary by designer. On average, the delivery for a wedding gown is typically 5 to 9 months. Bridesmaid dresses take 3 to 4 months to deliver. However, in the event of a limited time-frame, most designers provide "Rush Order" options. Inquire with your consultant about specific delivery times during your appointment.

Q: Should I schedule my wedding gown appointment together with my bridesmaids on the same day?
We suggest you not try to shop for your wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses on the same day. Finding that PERFECT gown can be sometimes mentally exhausting and more time-consuming than one would think. If time permits after your appointment, you can check out our selection of bridesmaid dresses before scheduling another appointment for them.

Q: Do you have in-house alterations?
Yes, we do have expert seamstresses on site to help you and your wedding party with your alterations. Alterations are by appointment only.
